On November 20, 2019, Malmö's active food waste stakeholders gathered to collaboratively develop the foundation for this White Paper on food waste in our city. The working meeting was organized in collaboration with Rädda Maten – the one-year regional food waste project (project period January 2019–December 2019) led by Sustainable Development Skåne, the County Administrative Board, and Sparbanken Syd with funding from the Environmental Protection Fund. Additionally, Food Malmö – the three-year collaborative project (project period May 2019–March 2021) led by the City of Malmö's Environmental Department with funding from the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the EU.
